Q: Would Rooney ever consider bringing back pre-album songs to the live show? By pre-album, I mean songs like Turn Away or the fan favorite The Floor. If not, is there any particular reason?

A: we love those old songs too! these days, we are touring in support of our record...that means the focus of the show is the songs off the record. in a headlining set, we do the entire album, our ramones cover, and often 2 or 3 new songs. in our opening set we do about 8 songs off the album only. its hard to find time to brush up those old songs and make them sound presentable....our standards have gone up in terms of song quality, the precision in the structure and arrangement, and of course performance. if a song doesn't feel like its ready to rock, then we wont play it.

Q: Many fans have wondered why there is now a Meet-and-Greet after shows. What is your opinion on this?

A: we have meet & greets now because our album has been released nationwide and there is a blend of new and old fans at the shows and we want everybody to have an equal opportunity to say hi after the show and hang out for a minute at the table. if we just stood around and casually chatted with our fans as if we were at a party or something, then the meeting and greeting would take longer than the show itself.....MUCH longer! we need to rest a little bit after putting on a show.
