Interviewer:
Liza
Thanks To: Taylor
Q: What's currently up
in the world of Taylor?
A: just hanging out in la enjoying my down time. some of my activities
this week have been going to the beach, going to the mountains, laying by
the pool, visiting friends in town, rehearsing the set for the next tour.
Q: Do you warm up your
voice before concerts? Or is Robert the only one in the band who does
that?
A: i always do a little
something. it depends on the set (what songs will be early on in the show,
etc.). if im gonna be singing something difficult right off the bat then
ill get nice and warm. if im doing simple parts on the first few songs
then ill just use that as my warmup.
Q: On David Letterman
[good job by the way!], you played a mustard-yellow guitar. Is this a new
guitar?
A: thanks. that is my new guitar. it is a custom historic les paul
and the finish is called tv yellow.
Q:
How do you like your eggs?
A: many different ways. lately sunny side up.
Q:
What is the worst song you
have heard in the recent past?
A: turn on kroq for 10 minutes and you'll hear all of today's worst
songs.
Q:
If duty called, would you wear
a kilt of Scottish origin?
A: what duty could that be?
Q:
What's your morning routine?
A: no routine really. depends on what i did the night before!
Q:
What do you think of your
younger fans?
A: what do you mean? i think they are kinda like the other fans but
younger.
Q:
I know you've said that the
band would like to have some of the old unreleased songs on the *next*
album. What songs would you like to revamp and play on there?
A: revisting old material is always a fun discussion but we rarely
get around to it. there are a few songs from the old days that had some
cool parts in them. (oh what a day, abc's of love, maybe even no wait but
listen).
Q:
What was your favorite venue you've played so far? Your least favorite?
A: the venues in japan were the best. the worst was jerry's pizza in
bakersfield but that wasn't that bad anyway. thank you chino was worse.
Q:
What nationality are you?
A: american.
